According to a new report from Sims Community, some lines of code in “The Sims 4” indicate the imminent arrival of furry four-legged friends. These codes appear to reference cats and dogs.
The Cats & Dogs expansion pack brings your Sims an array of adorable pets, such as cats, dogs, raccoons and foxes. Additionally, it introduces Brindleton Bay as a brand-new neighborhood where your Sims can play fetch near the harbor docks, take a leisurely walk to the lighthouse, or meet other pet-loving locals!

The Sims 4 is getting a pet expansion that brings cats and dogs to the game. Due to release on November 10th, this will be available for both PC and Mac gamers alike.
This pack allows you to create your favorite pets and interact with them in new ways. Just like a Sims pet, you’ll be able to feed, train, and play with it just the same!
Create Your pet using the comprehensive “Create A Pet” tool, which allows for customizing their breed, coat, and age. Plus, add special outfits and accessories to complete their look!

In Sims 4, you can now own pets and run a clinic. This new career and business opportunity for Sims revolves around their love for animals and providing care to other Sims’ furry friends.
The Cats & Dogs expansion will add Brindleton Bay, a coastal area to the game where your Sims can walk their pets, form romantic connections, and even go on walks together. The world will be much more detailed with four neighborhoods included so there will be plenty of space for playing.
